The Trinity Knot is an ancient Celtic symbol predating the crucifix by hundreds of years. The Knot takes its shape from three interlocking circles. Before Christianity it is thought that the concept of three represented the air, water and earth. When Christianity was introduced to Celtic lands the Trinity became the symbol of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
This is a small pendant featuring four Trinity Knots which are inter-connected. It is a very simple yet classic design. If you are looking for a small pendant to wear alone or with others this would be a good choice. It is a great gift for First Communion too. The Trinity Knot is handcrafted in .925 sterling silver. Several chain options are available.
